• The National Film Archive of Iceland is permitted by law to charge for all services.
• Handling fee pr. title: 8.500 ISK.
• Invoices are sent from the Financial Management Authority of Iceland. Grace period is 30 days.
• Delivery period from the Archive can take up to two weeks.
• Please send requests through “Contact us” on the Archives homepage.

Copyright fees / proprietary rights by the Archive

• Television Films/Documentaries with rerun: 59.400 ISK. min. / 990 ISK. sec. (Minimum charge is 1 min. pr. title)
• Advertisement: 35.000 ISK pr. sec.
• Music Videos: 35.000 ISK pr. min. / 600 ISK pr. sec.
• Feature Films: 118.000 ISK pr. min. / 1.990 ISK pr. sec.
• Global rights + 90%.

The price list is for material existing on digital form.

Additional services:

• Information service, examining catalogues, previewing films or other research: 9.200 ISK pr. hour.
• Scanning from film 8/16/35: 47.500 pr. reel/hour. (Minimum charge 1 hour.)
• Tape duplications: 29.000 ISK pr. hour. (Minimum charge 1 hour.)
• Technician: 23.000 ISK pr. hour (Minimum charge  1 hour.)
• Restored film (copyright archive), 1 screening: 60.000 ISK.
• Scanned exhibition copy to rightsholders: 155.000 ISK.
